This Privacy Policy describes how Grip ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our iOS application Grip ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and username when you create an account.
• Usage Data: Beg requests sent/received, friend connections, and beg counts.
• Device Token: Push notification token to deliver beg alerts.
• Screen Time Data: Processed entirely on your device via Apple's Screen Time API. Never transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• To send push notifications about beg requests and friend activity
• To display your beg count on the leaderboard visible to your friends
• To improve the App and fix issues

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in limited circumstances:

• With Friends: Your username and beg count are visible to users you've connected with.
• Service Providers: Supabase (backend infrastructure) and Expo/EAS (push notifications) process data on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time — personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

Grip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your Rights

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
