By downloading or using the Grip app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Grip, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Grip is a screen time accountability app that uses Apple's Screen Time API to block selected applications and allows users to send beg requests to friends for temporary access extensions.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
4. Subscription and Payments
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the App unlawfully, bypass blocking features, harass other users via beg requests, create multiple accounts to abuse the system, or reverse engineer the App.
6. Screen Time API and Permissions
Grip uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs. By granting permissions, you authorize Grip to apply app restrictions as configured by you. You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Screen Time API behavior is controlled by Apple's iOS.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grip and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna.
